The Traffic Case Management component of CJIS for Courts tracks moving and non-moving violations. The system tracks information unique to the case such as the defendant, charges, defendant's legal status, bond and surety/depositor data, defense attorneys, prosecutors, date and nature of past events and the date and nature of the next scheduled event, witnesses, dispositions, sentences and appeals. On inquiry, the system summarizes the activity for each case by displaying the status of the case, violations, base bail amount, and fines.
